Crotta O’Neill’s celebrated a first Kerry SHC title since 1968 at Austin Stack Park, Tralee.
A courageous display ensured Crotta O’Neill’s edged out Lixnaw.
Prompted by the excellent Shane Nolan, Jordan Conway, and Seánie McElligott, Crotta O’Neill’s delivered in style.
Mikey Kelliher did net an opening period goal for Lixnaw, who featured the impressive Shane Conway.
Lixnaw led by five points at the end of the first quarter, but Crotta O’Neill’s responded before the interval with a flurry of points.
The teams eventually departed deadlocked, 0-9 to 1-6 at the turnaround.
McElligott and Conway landed vital points after the restart for Crotta O’Neill’s, who earned a memorable win in Tralee.
