William A. (Willie) Goggin RIP
Kerry GAA was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Willie Goggin, Ballinskelligs and St. Michael’s/Foilmore GAA Club.
Willie was a gentleman in every sense of the word and a man who commanded enormous respect throughout the GAA community in Kerry. He was held in the highest regard by those who knew and worked alongside him. A man of great integrity, he gave generously of his time and experience over a long number of years.
A dedicated member of St. Michael’s/Foilmore GAA Club, Willie served as the club’s delegate to the Kerry County Board for many years and was a constant and valued presence during that time.
Willie also served as Chairman of the County Hearings Committee, a role in which his fairness, knowledge and sound judgement were greatly respected and valued.
Kerry GAA extends its sincere sympathy to his daughter Rhóna, sons Liam and Tony, his sister Maureen, extended family, neighbours, his club and many friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
