A fantastic Education Day was held at the Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence with our Under 16 Football Development Squads getting valuable advice and insights to help them both on and off the field.
Throughout the morning, players heard from a range of excellent speakers covering careers, nutrition, athletic development and the personal challenges that come with pursuing their ambitions.
🎓 Niamh Dwyer– Career Guidance
🥗 John O’Connor – Head of Nutrition, Kerry GAA
🏃 Pádraig Murphy – Head of Athletic Development, Kerry GAA
The players also had the opportunity to listen to Marc Ó Sé and Paudie Clifford who shared their experiences of their careers, the challenges they faced along the way, and the importance of resilience in overcoming setbacks and continuing to strive for success.
A great day of learning, reflection and inspiration, reminding our young players that development is about much more than what happens on the pitch.
👏 A huge thank you to all of our speakers for giving their time and sharing their knowledge with the next generation of Kerry players.
They even got to make their own post training smoothie 🥤🫐🍓🍯
