The Senior Poc Fada took place yesterday evening, (June 9th) on a wet and windy Cúl Tra in Banna Beach.
A close contest between former Kerry goalkeeper and current Kilmoyley keeper John Brendan O’ Halloran and Tralee Parnells goalkeeper and current Kerry Panelist Diarmuid Quirke. A close contest throughout with victory going to Diarmuid Quirke.
Diarmuid received the County Championship cup from Ger McCarthy (pictured above). Ger McCarthy also thanked the North Kerry Hurling Board for sponsoring the event.
Diarmuid will go forward to represent Kerry in the Munster final on Saturday June 14th on the Galtee Mountains and we wish Diarmuid all the very best.
