Frank Hayes
Kerry GAA were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the late Frank Hayes.
Frank, in his capacity as Executive Director of Corporate Affairs with our main sponsor, Kerry Group, was a truly great friend of Kerry GAA.
He was always honourable and courteous in our dealings with him and his meticulous planning of post All-Ireland functions was legendary.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Frank’s wife Gráinne, to his children, and to all his family and friends at this very sad time.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Statement from Patrick O’Sullivan, Chairperson Kerry GAA
All at Kerry GAA offer our heartfelt sympathies to Gráinne, Tony, Anna, John, Joseph, Conor and Emily and of the Hayes family on the sad loss of Frank.
Frank was a true Gael, a man who shared his vast business acumen and passion with Kerry GAA and created and solidified a unique and formidable connection between Kerry Group and Kerry GAA during his time as head of corporate affairs. While the word Kerry emblazoned on the chest of every Kerry player has been synonymous with Kerry jerseys for over thirty years, the words gentleman, GAA great, professional, honourable and legendary have been associated with Frank. This connection with Kerry Group has gone from strength to strength, all built on the foundation of Frank Hayes and his vision of how important the GAA is in Kerry.
We are beyond grateful for the support Frank has shown us, and will miss him dearly.
Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.
