Credit Union Senior Football League - Update

Division 1
In Division 1 there will have to be a playoff to decide who will play Dr Crokes in the Division 1 final following Killarney Legion’s 3-10 to 1-7 victory over Milltown-Castlemaine and Austin Stacks 0-21 to 2-8 victory over Desmonds in the final Round games played today. So Legion and Stacks will have to face off to see who takes on Dr Crokes for the League decider.
Meanwhile Dr Crokes completed their last fixture with a 2-21 to 0-9 victory over Glenbeigh-Glencar.

The remaining final round games in Division 1 will be played on November 15th provided that Dingle are not involved in the Munster Club Championship.

Division 2
Rathmore have jumped into joint second place in Division 2 following a 2-14 to 0-12 victory over Spa in a back game in Rathbeg on Saturday. A goal from John Moynihan saw the homeside lead by 1-7 to 0-5 at the break and a second goal from the same player after the turnover sealed the points for Rathmore who are away to Kenmare, a point behind them in the table, in the final round. Templenoe play Gneeveguilla and John Mitchels are away to St Marys.

Division 3
In Division 3 it was a case of who would go up along with champions Beaufort as the four top teams in the Division were in action against each other. Listry and An Ghaeltacht made the final two promotion places theirs with victories over Beaufort and Annascaul respectively. Listry returned to Division 2 after being relegated last year with a 2-9 to 1-9 victory over champions Beaufort in Listry while An Ghaeltacht had it all their own way against their West Kerry neighbours in Annascaul winning by 15 points to 3 and returning to Division 2 after two years in the lower Division.

In Divisions 4 and 5,
All Round 11 games will be played on November 15th. There was one back game in Division 4 last weekend where Dr Crokes defeated Scartaglen to secure their Division 3 status and by the same token put a big dent in Scartaglen’s promotion hopes.
