Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Hurling Championship Final
St. Brendan’s and Lixnaw have qualified for the final of the Keane’s Super Valu county minor hurling championship. It will go ahead on this Saturday at Kilmoyley where there will be a 2:30p.m. throw in.
In last weekend’s semi-finals, St. Brendan’s had a facile 8 – 15 to 3 – 6 win over South Kerry in a very one sided game at Lewis Road, Killarney. Meanwhile the Lixnaw versus Ballyduff/Causeway game was a thriller with just 2 points separating the sides at the finish, 0 - 21 to 1 - 15. Lixnaw’s Shane Conway scored 17 points for his side.
Acorn Life Under 21 Semi finals
In the Acorn Life county under 21 hurling championship quarter final on Sunday last, Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue had a 1 – 15 to 3 – 6 win over Crotta O’Neill’s. The semi-final draw has resulted in the following pairings: St. Brendan’s v Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue and Causeway v South Kerry. Both these games are fixed for Saturday, 24th October at 3.00p.m. with venues to be confirmed.
 Intermediate & Junior Championships Finals
On this Sunday, 18th October both the co. junior and intermediate championship finals are down for decision. Austin Stacks play Duagh in the junior final at Lixnaw, 1.30p.m.while Dr. Crokes take on Kilmoyley in the intermediate championship final at Abbeydorney at 3.00p.m.
County Senior Hurling League
This year the top 4 teams in Division 1 of the co. senior hurling league will play semi-finals as follows: Kilmoyley v St. Brendan’s and Causeway versus Abbeydorney. They have been fixed for Saturday, 31st October at 3.00p.m., venues to be confirmed.
Munster Club Hurling
Kilmoyley will player Clare champions, Wolfe Tones, Shannon at a Clare venue on the weekend of 25th October in the first round of the Munster intermediate club championship.
In the Munster junior championship, the Kerry representatives will be away to the Limerick champions on Sunday, 1st November. If Dr Crokes win Sunday’s intermediate final, they will represent Kerry but if Kilmoyley win, then the winners of the South Kerry championship will represent the county.
