SFL Div 4 Round 9 Dr Crokes 3.12 v Dromid 2.13 2015-08-16 20:06:00

The visitors put their stamp on the game from the very start with Jamie Doolan's scoring the first point of the game within two minutes but this was quickly counteracted by a pointed free from Christóir Ó Faircheallaigh. And so the hosts went on to take an early lead with two quick points from Dilan Ó Donchú. However, Croke's Andrew Kennelly was a force in the half forwards and scored the first goal of the game quickly followed by a point. It was a keenly contested first half but two goals from Gearoid Ó Sulleabhan and Shane Ó Concubhair saw the Dromid side take the lead with a nicely taken score by Deaglan Ó Sulleabhain to leave the half time score Na Piarsiagh's 2.07 to Dr. Croke's 1.06.

Within the second minute of the second half the first of two goals from Gavin O' Shea demonstrated Dr. Croke's determination to regain the lead. There were a number of points from Cristóir Ó Faircheallaigh, Seán O Se and Thomas Curran but the visitors held onto their lead with their strong full forward combination all performing well until the final whistle. The final score was Piarsaigh na Dromoda 2.13 to Dr. Croke's (B )3.12.
