Kerry clubs bring home four All Ireland Scór Titles! 2015-02-15 19:28:00

Valentine's Day, 2015 may well be remembered as the day that several clubs brought All Ireland titles back to Kerry. Ardfert and Brosna did the business in football and Spa, Lios Póil and Lixnaw didn't disappoint in Scór.

The All Ireland final was held in CityWest, Dublin. First up was the Tráth na gCeist, where Kerry was represented by Spa. It was a nail biting encounter but Spa took the spoils with a magnificent score of 68.

The other Scór competitions started at 3pm in front of a large crowd.

All four Kerry acts were brilliant and unquestionably represented their club, county and province with pride and distinction.

Results were announced at 7.30pm and Kerry won three further titles
- Spa (Rince Foirne)
Lixnaw (Ceol Uirlise)
and Prionnsias Ó Cathasaigh Lios Póil (Amhranaiocht Aonair).

Unfortunately it wasn't Skellig Rangers day as their Léiriú lost out to the Downs of Westmeath but they should be very proud of their performance.

The other winners were JK Brackens (Bailead), Aghamore (Rince Seit) and Moate (Aithriseoireacht).

It was wonderful to hear the Kerry clubs cheer each other on. A number of homecomings are being held tonight and these young people deserve the praise and celebration that awaits them. They are extraordinary ambassadors for our county.

Next up is Senior Scór, here's hoping April brings further All Ireland titles to our County!
