Allianz Hurling League on the horizon

Kerry’s first game in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A on Sunday, 15th February has been confirmed for Austin Stack Park where there will be an earlier than usual throw in time of 12.30p.m. This is to facilitate the travel arrangements of the Derry team. Kerry played Sixmilebridge in a challenge last weekend as part of their preparation for the league. The County Committee liaison officers for the Kerry senior hurling team in 2015 will be Diarmuid Ó Sé (Piarsaigh na Dromoda) and John Joe O’Carroll (Asdee).

Minor Hurling Management Team

The management team for the Kerry minor hurlers remains as it was last year with Ian Brick (Kilmoyley) as manager and Stephen Goggin (Causeway) and Aidan Mahony (St. Brendan’s) as selectors. The panel had a planning meeting and challenge game last weekend and will play a number of other challenges before they commence their Leinster League campaign away to Wicklow on Saturday, 7th March.  The County Committee liaison officer for the Kerry Minor and Under 21 hurling teams will be Ger McCarthy (Causeway).


The Credit Union  senior hurling league Division 1 will commence on Sunday, 12th April with Division 2, round 1 scheduled for Wednesday, 15th April. In 2015, semi-finals will be played in both Divisions 1 and 2 of the senior hurling leagues
