Keanes Supervalu Killorglin MFL after 4 Rounds 2014-03-19 10:33:00

This coming Good Friday is an important date for the Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Football League. With four rounds played, playoff places are at stake. 

Divisions with 6 teams will have semi- finals with 1 v 4 and 2 v 3, first and second teams having home venue, and in Divisions with 5 or less the top team goes straight to the final while 2nd and 3rd play in a semi final. The following is the up to date situation across the 


Division 1: Dingle and Dr Crokes top this Division with 6 points each, with Spa on 4 points and Kerins O’Rahillys and An Gaeltacht on 2 each. There’s a couple of back games to be played between Kerin's O’Rahillys and An Ghaeltacht and Dr Crokes p,lay Dingle on April 21st due to the Hogan Cup final Cup final.

Division 2: All teams have four games played; Firies are on 6 points, Milltown-Castlemaine are on 5 with Ballydonoghue and Churchill on 4 points each. 

Division 3A: All have 4 played; Renard/St Marys and Rathmore are both on 6 points, Kenmare/Kilgarvan have 5 points with Keel/Listry on 4 points. 

Division 3B: Beaufort and Annascaul/Lispole are on 6 points, with Desmonds, Laune Rangers and Emmets on 4 points each. All have four games played.

Division 4: Fossa have gone top on their own on 8 points, Moyvane/Tarbert and Ballymac are on 6 points with Na Gaeil and Ardfert on 2 points each. All teams have played four games.

Division 5: Glenflesk, who defeated St Pats Blennerville on Friday evening last have gone top on 6 points – they are in the final, Knock/Brosna will play St Pats in the semi final on Friday evening next in Knocknagoshel at 6:30pm.

Division 6A: Skellig Rangers/Valentia Waterville/Dromid are on 6 points and St Michaels Foilmore, who are on 4 points, have a back game against Glenbeigh-Glencar.

Division 6B: Asdee/Ballylongford are on 5 points with Castlegregory on 3.Beale on 2 points.
