Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Football Leagues at Semi-final 2014-04-01 09:30:00

Following the final round of games on Friday evening last, the Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Football League semi finalists are now known. The Division 5 finalists are already known. In some cases, where teams finished level on points, the head to head result and scoring difference came into play.

Divisions with 6 teams will have semi- finals with 1 v 4 and 2 v 3, first and second teams having home venue, and in Divisions with 5 or less the top team goes straight to the final while 2nd and 3rd teams play in a semi final. All semi finals and one final will be played on this coming Friday evening at 6:30pm.The following is the up to date situation across the Divisions:

Division 1:
Dingle and Dr Crokes are through to the semi finals, Kerins O'Rahillys and Spa are on 4 points and An Ghaeltacht are on 3 points. There was an important back game due to be played on Tuesday evening between Kerin's O'Rahillys and An Ghaeltacht to decide who goes through to the semi –finals with Dingle and Dr Crokes.

Division 2:
Firies play Milltown-Castlemaine and Churchill play Ballydonoghue in the semi finals.

Division 3A:
There were three teams on 6 points and two on 5 points in this Division and scoring difference had to come into play to decide the final placings. Renard/St Marys will play Gneeveguilla and Keel/Listry will play Rathmore

Division 3B:
Beaufort will play Annascaul/Lispole and Laune Rangers play Desmonds in the semi finals

Division 4:
Fossa play Na Gaeil and Ballymacelligott play Moyvane/Tarbert in the semi-finals.

Division 5:

Glenflesk will play Knock/Brosna in the final on this coming Friday evening after St Pats conceded their semi -final to Knock/Brosna last weekend.

Division 6A:
Skellig Rangers/Valentia are in the final with Waterville/Dromid playing St Michaels/Foilemore in the semi final in Waterville. Some teams found it difficult to field in this Division and there was a nice gesture by Waterville/Dromid who conceded home venue in one of their games to give their opponents a better chance of fielding.

Division 6B:
Castlegregory are in the final and Asdee/Ballylongford will play Beale in the semi final in Ballylongford.
