East Kerry  4-15 Feale Rangers 1-11


In a free flowing and skillful round 1 game played at a blistering pace, against Feale Rangers, in Rathmore,  it was East Kerry progressed to the quarter finals of the County U21 Championship, where they meet South Kerry. In a high scoring first quarter, East Kerry rattled the net twice, Ian Roche and Paudie Clifford on target and popped over 4 points, while Feale Rangers notched up 2 points and Dara Hughes a well worked goal. East Kerry built a commanding lead in the remainder of the half, Joe Clifford and Paudie Clifford adding another 2 goals. Score at the break, East Kerry 4-7 Feale Rangers 1-4.  

 

On resumption, the game continued at pace and the sides traded a number of points. A scatter of East Kerry points extend the home sides lead. To their credit Feale Rangers played with determination to the final whistle and notched up points. Full time score East Kerry 4-15 Feale Rangers 1-11.
