Kerry Senior Footballers begin 2017 season with McGrath Cup game against Tipperary

Kerry Senior Footballers will open the 2017 season with a McGrath Cup game against Munster Finalists Tipperary at Tralee’s Austin Stack Park on Sunday January 8th. (2pm) and will play Cork in Round 2 the following Sunday in Páirc Uí Rinn.

 In Group B, Limerick, Clare and Waterford will fight it out for a place in the final. The McGrath Cup Final is fixed for Sunday January 22nd.

Allianz Football League Fixtures

Kerry open their Allianz Football League campaign away to Donegal in Letterkenny on February 5th in the first of three away games, the others being away to Roscommon and Cavan.

Kerry have four home games with two fixed for Tralee – both under lights against the All Ireland Finalists – Mayo on February 11th and Dublin on March 18th. The remaining two home games are against Monaghan and Tyrone.

There will be no Division One semi-finals. Instead, the top two teams will contest the final one week after the Round 7 matches have been contested – April 9th.

Munster Senior Football Championship

The dates, times and venues for the 2017 Munster GAA Football Championship fixtures have been announced. The Quarter-Finals are fixed for the weekend of May 27/28 while the Semi-Finals will take place on June 10/11.

The defending Munster Senior Football finalists Kerry and Tipperary have a bye to the semi-finals.

The defending champions Kerry will await the winners of the Quarter-Final meeting of Limerick and Clare. If Kerry V Limerick in Fitzgerald Stadium; If Kerry V Clare in Cusack Pk.

Tipperary will play either Cork or Waterford.

The 2017 Munster Senior Football Final is fixed for Sunday July 2nd.

Munster Under 21 Football Championship

Kerry Under 21 footballers  will play Clare in the Qtr Final of the Munster Under 21 Championship on March 8th in Austin Stack Park Tralee. The winners play Waterford in the semi final in Dungarvan on March 15th.

Cork will open the defence of their Munster Under 21 Football title with a home semi-final versus either Tipperary or Limerick also on Wednesday March 15th.

The Munster Under 21 Football Final is fixed for Wednesday March 29th.

Munster Minor Football Championship

Kerry will begin their quest for their fifth Munster Minor Football title in a row with a home game versus Clare on Wednesday April 12th.

Tipperary will host Cork while Limerick have home advantage versus Waterford in the other opening round fixtures on April 12th.

The semi final pairings will not be revealed until after the Round Robin series – teams who have already met will be kept apart in the semi finals.

The 2017 Munster Minor Football Final is fixed for Sunday July 2nd.

Munster Under 17 Football Champiuonship

In the Munster Under 17 Football Championship, Tipperary will host Clare on Tuesday April 4th while on the same date, Waterford host Cork.

In the semi-finals on Tuesday May 2nd, Kerry will have home advantage in Austin Stack Park versus the winner of Tipperary or Clare while Limerick will travel to play the winner of Waterford and Cork.

The Munster Under 17 Football Championship Final is fixed for Tuesday May 16th.
