Celtic Challenge: Kerry 4-19 West Limerick 1-5 2016-06-02 07:46:00

Celtic Challenge U17 Hurling
Kerry 4-19 West Limerick 1-5
A big win by the Kerry U17 team in the final group game in the Celtic Challenge held in Crotta on Wednesday night.
West Limerick were the visitors to the Kingdom and were leading at the short whistle 1-4 to 0-06.
A few stern words from management at the break must of worked wonders because the Kingdom stormed out in the second half and racked up 4-13 in the second period with Barry O Mahoney in his home field leading the line,
Evan Murphy (Brother of Kerry Senior Hurler Bryan ) was orchestrating the back line and they shut the Limerick men out and only conceded a solitary point in the second half.
Final Score Kerry 4-19 to 1-05
Kerry now travel to the Gaelic Grounds this coming Saturday in the Quarter final of the Celtic Challenge where they face South/East Clare.
