REMAINING NFL GAMES OF VITAL IMPORTANCE ... We are away to Donegal, the unbeaten table toppers of Division 1A, on this Sunday in Round 5 of the Allianz National Football League. The game is in Letterkenny and is an All-Ticket game. Tickets are on sale at The Pavilion, Austin Stack Park, during office hours this week from 12 noon to 5.30 p.m. Donegal have been very impressive in each of their games in the league to date and will view this game against Kerry as an opportunity to consolidate their position at the top of the table and qualify for the semi-finals. It is also a very important game for Kerry and despite the continued absence of the Dr. Crokes players we have to show a strong determination in this game to advance our own position on the table as the league enters its very critical phase. Following our one goal win against Limerick in Round 4 we held on to our second place on the league table ahead of Mayo on score difference and behind Donegal, who have full points from their four games. Mayo are also on six points. The players selected against Limerick worked extremely hard to justify their selection on the team and they put in a committed performance that gave Kerry those valuable league points. The league has passed the half way stage and Kerry’s two remaining games after this round are at home to Tyrone in Round 6 under floodlights on Saturday March 31st at Austin Stack Park and away to Dublin at Parnell Park in the last round on Easter Sunday April 8th. The last round games have been rescheduled to start at the same time on Sunday April 8th. Kerry’s game against Dublin will be and All-Ticket game. These remaining games are of vital importance to Kerry and we must play to our full potential to earn the league points in those games.
