CLASSIC MUNSTER FINAL AWAITS...

It's Munster Final weekend and for the first time in a quite a few years Kerry face Cork in the final of the Bank Of Ireland Munster Senior Football Championship. In the Minor Final, Kerry also play Cork in the provincial decider. The Senior Final is at 4.15 p.m. and afternoon programme begins with the Minor Final at 2.30 p.m. The Primary Game between the National Schools selections of both counties will be during half time in the Senior match.

What more does the football enthusiast need in the provincial finals only to have these two great rivals pitted against one another in the minor and senior finals.

We urge our supporters to come early and give our minors the support they deserve. They have trained hard all year and have come through a tough selection process. It is a very big day for them and their families and we wish them the very best of luck in their efforts to win the title.

Admission to the stands and terraces on Sunday is by ticket only. The ticket prices are €30 for the Covered Stand, €25 for the Uncovered Stand, €20 for the Terrace and Student Terrace Tickets cost €10.

Kerry and Cork games are always very colourful occasions adding an extra special flavour to this wonderful sporting occasion. We had a marvellous display of Kerry colour in past championship campaigns. Let's hope for more of the same on Sunday next and give the team plenty of loud vocal support as well. That colourful display of support gives the team a great lift and contributes in some way to lifting the team's performance in their games. Our team deserves our support after all those hard hours of training and preparation during the winter, the personal sacrifices they have made and their determination to do their very best to bring championship honours to Kerry again this year.
