Policy for Pass Holders in lieu of current conditions
Kerry County Board Current Policy for Pass Holders in lieu of current restrictions
(Note: subject to change)
To give an understanding of the challenges we face trying to cater for everyone, the County has over 1,300 passes between Croke Park Club Plus Season Ticket Holders, Cairde Chiarrí Fundraising Scheme, Austin Stack Park Development Scheme, Fitzgerald Stadium Development Scheme, County Board Season Tickets and County Board Pass Holders.
We are also working with a new ticketing system to ensure the proper controls are in place in light of Government restrictions, so your patience and understanding in getting everything fully operational is appreciated.
Unfortunately, with the recent announcement of the delay of phase four of the reopening of society and business, we have had to alter our plans in relation to the number of tickets we can make available to the various stake holders but this will improve as the numbers allowed to attend our games increase.
Our priority for the first round of the Club Championship will be to ensure the Clubs get familiar with the new ticketing system and some of their members get an opportunity to attend the games. We will also begin the process of getting all Pass Holders registered so that by the second round of the Club Championships (W/end Aug 1) some tickets will be on stream for this category.
The first action required of our Pass Holders is to Register your details on our new ticketing system in order to access the code for permit to attend your chosen game. Kerry GAA aim to facilitate your registration from next Wednesday July 23 onwards. All Pass Holders will need to register their name, address, email address, phone number plus details of your current Pass (i.e. name/number). Once that is done you should be in a position to access the system and download your free ticket for our games. (Please note initially there will only be a small number of tickets made available due to maximum capacity of 200 (including players/mentors/match officials/etc) being allowed. Also note membership of any of the above named Schemes allows a member access to one pass for one game per round subject to availability.
Registration begins Wednesday July 23 and the first tickets for Pass Holders will not be coming on stream until the following week (From Monday July 27) for Rd 2 Club Championship games so everyone has a few days to get registered.
In order to track attendance and traceability all Pass Holders must have a ticket from our new ticket system to attend club fixtures this year and you must present this ticket on entry for scanning. Note, your current Pass is not Valid to gain entry to games.
When you are registered on our new system there will be a section on the Kerry GAA website for Pass Holders: where users will login based on their registration details provided and then claim their ticket. Scanners are programmed to identify any duplicate barcodes on day of game. Please produce your ticket on your phone or print out at the game.
We cannot guarantee availability for the popular games as they will be on a first come first served basis.
We thank you for your continued support of Kerry GAA. These are challenging times for everyone, we ask all to take care.
