The first Kerry Hurling Coaching Conference will take place on this Friday, 17 January, 7.30p.m. - 9.30p.m. Note that the venue has been changed to the Rose Hotel, Tralee. Guest speakers on the evening will be former Waterford hurling manager, Derek McGrath, along with current Tipperary senior hurling selector and former player, Eoin Kelly. The event is organised on behalf of the Kerry Coaching & Games Development Committee. There is a limited amount of places for the conference. A booking fee of €50 will cover all coaches from a club. Clubs should confirm the names of coaches that will be attending by this Wednesday, 15 January to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Annual Convention of the North Kerry Hurling Board is fixed for Thursday, 16 January. Venue will be the Abbeydorney G.A.A. Complex where proceedings get underway at 8.00p.m. All current officers have been returned unopposed. A big night for St. Brendan’s Juvenile Hurling Club in the Ardfert Community Centre on this Saturday evening from 7.00p.m. as they will present medals to their very successful underage sides of 2019 while on the same evening, Co. Senior Champions, Causeway, will be presented with their championship medals at a Victory Dance to be held at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.
