On Friday last Kerry GAA, in conjunction with the Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee, hosted a #Pain2Performance workshop in the new sports academy at the I.T. Tralee.
It was a fitting venue for Jason McGahan, Derek Griffin and Tim Gabbett to share their knowledge and experience on monitoring and managing loads in athletes.
Sports Practitioners got the chance to learn that load and pain should not be feared. They can increase performance capacity when managed correctly and safely.
The presenters gave their insight in to how the theory and research can be applied practically in the trenches.
We would like to extend our thanks to Jason McGahan, Derek Griffin, Tim Gabbett and The Bons Secours Hospital, Tralee for their expertise and support in the running of this workshop.
