Ballyduff and Causeway will meet in the Final of the Rhyno Quality Feeds North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship [John Joe O’Sullivan Memorial Cup].
In last Sunday’s semi-finals Ballyduff had a 5 – 20 to 0 – 19 win over St. Brendan's while Co. champions Causeway, defeated Lixnaw by 1 – 23 to 0 – 10.
County Under 21 Hurling Championship
The second semi-final of the 2019 Co. Under 21 Hurling Championship between Causeway and Kenmare/Kilgarvan/Dr. Crokes will take place on this Saturday, 12 October at Austin Stack Park, 4.00p.m. The winners will meet Lixnaw in the Final
St. Brendan’s got a walkover from Crotta last Saturday in a Co. Senior Hurling League Division 2 back game.
The semi-final pairings are: Dr. Crokes v Causeway and St. Brendan's v Kilgarvan.
In Division 1, St. Brendan’s and Causeway have qualified for the Final. Dates to be confirmed for all these fixtures.
South Kerry update
Kilgarvan won the South Kerry senior hurling league on Saturday last when they defeated Dr. Crokes in the Final by 0 - 22 to 0 - 17.
Tralee Parnell’s won the South Kerry Under 14 Division 1 hurling championship with a narrow 1 - 9 to 1 - 8 win over Rathmore in a game played under lights at Caherslee. Captain Dylan Cunningham was presented with the Shield by South Kerry GDA, Colm O’Brien. The Tralee Parnells Awards night will take place on Friday, 8 November.
North Kerry update
The Final of the North Kerry Under 16 ‘A’ Championship between St. Brendan’s and Ballyheigue [Thomas ‘Son’ O’Sullivan Memorial Shield] is fixed for this Sunday, 13 October, 12 noon at Dromakee.
Crotta and Abbeydorney will contest the ‘B’ Championship decider [John Joe Nolan Memorial Shield]. Check the North Kerry Hurling Facebook page for details.
The Tom Healy Under 15 Hurling Tournament will take place under lights at Abbeydorney on Fridays, 11th & 18th October with the Finals on Friday, 25th October. The competition is hosted by Abbeydorney Hurling Club and sponsored by the North Kerry Hurling Board.
