Reigning champions Lixnaw are safely through to the semi-finals of the Garvey’s SuperValu Kerry Co. Senior Hurling Championship following their 1 - 20 to 0 - 13 win over Causeway.
In the other Round 2A game St. Brendan’s and Crotta finished all square after extra time so must meet again to decide the next semi-final place. Meanwhile Abbeydorney and Ballyheigue have exited the competition following defeats to Kilmoyley and Ballyduff respectively.
Kerry meet Down on this Saturday, 3 August in the final of the All-Ireland Under 20 B Hurling Championship [Ritchie McElligott Cup]. Venue is Páirc Tailteann in Navan where there will be a 3.45p.m. throw in. This game will be the curtain raiser to the All-Ireland Football Super 8’s Round 3 clash between Kerry and Meath.
County Intermediate Hurling Championship [Corn Antóin Ó Murchú] semi-final on Tuesday, 6 August - Kilgarvan v Tralee Parnell's at Lewis Road, Killarney, 7.00p.m. The winners will meet either Dr. Crokes or Kenmare in the Final.

Hurling Cúl Camps
The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps for Hurling in Kerry will continue on Monday next at Crotta O’Neill’s – Dromakee (5 – 9 August). Online booking www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps The cost is €60 per child with reductions for additional members of families and this includes Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp gear (including a jersey, training top and backpack). Open to children between the ages of 6 to 13; times 10.00 am to 2.30pm. daily. The remaining camps will be at Kilmoyley & Tralee Parnell’s - Caherslee (12 – 16 August).
The North Kerry Under 13 Championship Round 2 results:
Group 1 - Ballyheigue defeated Firies Lixnaw v St. Brendan’s was postponed;
Group 2 - Abbeydorney 3 - 2 Crotta 5 – 6; Kilmoyley 3 - 6 Causeway 5- 4.
North Kerry Under 15 championship Round 1 results: Kilmoyley 2 - 19 Tralee Parnell’s 1 - 3; Lixnaw defeated Abbeydorney; Ballyduff 2 -14 Ballyheigue 2 - 3 and St. Brendan’s got a walkover from Crotta.
The North Kerry Under 12 Blitz competitions will take place on this Saturday, 3 August commencing at 10.30a.m.
Group1 will be hosted by Ballyheigue [co-ordinator Cara Flahive] with the following teams taking part - Ballyheigue; Tralee Parnell's; Ballyduff, Crotta.
Group 2 will take place at Kilmoyley [co-ordinator Tom Godley] with Lixnaw, Kilmoyley, Causeway, Abbeydorney and St. Brendan's scheduled to take part.
