Congratulations to both our Minor and Senior teams on being crowned Munster Champions.
As expected, Cork gave both teams a contest and the two games kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle! Thankfully both teams prevailed and were crowned Munster Champions.
The Minor Cup was presented to Captain Jack O’Connor and the Senior Cup was presented to Captain Gavin White.
At the end of July, the Kerry Minors will meet the Ulster Runners Up in the Quarter Final.
Next up for the Seniors is the ‘Super 8s’. The full groups will become clearer in the next two weeks.
We are definitely in Group 1 along with Donegal.
We will play Donegal in Croke Park in our second round game. Our first game of the ‘Super 8s’ will be in Killarney against either Galway or the team that beats them in the Round 4 qualifiers. The final ‘Super 8s’ game will be at an ‘away’ venue. We will either play Meath or the team that beats them in the Round 4 qualifiers.
Plenty of questions arose during our performance in Cork last Saturday and Peter Keane and his Management team will spend their time answering those questions and developing solutions before our July 13th/14th game.
Congratulations to both teams and best of luck in the games ahead.
