The semi-finals of the Rhyno Quality Feeds North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship [John Joe O’Sullivan Memorial Cup] are fixed for this Friday, 7 September when Causeway are at home to Kilmoyley and Ballyduff meet Lixnaw at Ballyduff. Both games have a 6.30p.m. starting time with extra time if necessary.
Quarter final results from Friday last: Kilmoyley 2 - 12 Abbeydorney 2 – 4; Causeway got a walkover from St. Brendan's; Lixnaw 2 - 11 Crotta 1 – 12; Ballyduff 4 - 15 Ballyheigue 0 – 9.
St. Brendan’s won the Co. Minor Hurling League Division 1B title on Monday evening last at Abbeydorney when they had a 2 - 17 to 2 - 10 win over Tralee Parnell's. Seamus O'Halloran was the St. Brendan's captain.
Results from the two quarter finals of the North Kerry Under 21 Championship from last weekend - Causeway 4 - 13 Crotta 2 - 12; Lixnaw 0 - 14 St. Brendan's 0 - 13.
The Round 1 draw for the Co. Under 21 Championship is as follows: St. Brendan's v Crotta O'Neill's; Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue v Kenmare/Kilgarvan; Lixnaw v Ballyduff and Causeway v Kilmoyley. These games are provisionally fixed for Saturday, 15 September at 4.00p.m.

Ballyduff are the 2018 Co. Under 16 Hurling champions following their 2 - 20 to 1 - 5 win over Abbeydorney in the Final on Sunday evening. Darragh Slattery was the winning captain.
Round 2 of Phase 2 of the Co. Under 12 Hurling leagues will take place on this Friday evening with all games at 6.30p.m. Check with clubs for details.
Best of luck to the Kerry camogie team in the All-Ireland Junior Final against Dublin at Croke Park this Sunday. The game throws in at 12 noon and will be the first of a treble bill that also includes the intermediate and senior camogie finals.
North Kerry update
St. Brendan’s won the North Kerry Under 15 ‘B’ Championship [Edmund Flahive Memorial Shield] on Saturday last when they had a 4 - 16 to 2 - 3 win over Tralee Parnells at Abbeydorney. Player of the Match, Seán Brosnan, was also the St. Brendan's captain.
Tralee Parnell’s won the North Kerry Under 13 ‘B’ Hurling Championship Final [Michael O'Connell Memorial Shield] on Tuesday at Kilmoyley. They defeated Ballyheigue in the Final by 1 - 7 to 1 - 5. Rory Reen was the Tralee Parnell's captain while Andrew Kerins was Player of the Match.
