Green Ribbon Campaign
Kerry GAA is encouraging club members to ‘Wear the Green Ribbon this May to end Mental Health Stigma in Kerry’. Green Ribbons were given to Club Delegates at the County Committee meeting last Monday night and additional Green Ribbons will be distributed to clubs over the coming week. The Green Ribbon campaign aims to get people talking openly about common mental health problems.
To support the Green Ribbon campaign this May in your club, encourage all club members, team Mentors, coaches, club officers etc. to wear the Green Ribbon and to use social media accounts and photographs to spread the word. Distributing a green ribbon to people attending games would have a huge impact in getting the conversation going as would including information on the Green Ribbon campaign in match programmes.
