Jack O’Connor has confirmed to the Chairman of Kerry County Committee Patrick O’Sullivan that he has resigned as Kerry Senior Team manager.
Mr O'Sullivan said that "Jack O'Connor has served Kerry well as a manager and has been part of sixteen All Ireland winning teams at different levels. I wish to sincerely thank him, his selectors and their backroom team for their commitment and dedication to Kerry Football"
Jack O'Connor was a selector with Kerry in 1993. He served as senior selector in 1996 and has been part of five All Ireland Senior successes and three U21 victories.
Jack O'Connor has managed Kerry to Three All Ireland Titles in 2004, 2006 and 2009. He managed Kerry from 2004 to 2006 and again from 2009.
He was a senior selector in 2000 & 2001 He managed the Kerry U21 team that won The All Ireland Title in 1998.
He has trained Scoil Uí Chonall Caherciveen and later Coláiste na Scéilge, Caherciveen to All Ireland Senior Vocational School titles and 3-in -a row Munster Colleges titles and one Hogan Cup in 2009.
