Jack O'Connor & Kerry Players Launch Night of Champions
The launch of this fundraising evening took place this Monday evening, 19/04/2009 @ 7pm in The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee. Kerry Players from both codes, Hurling & Football along with Team Management were in attendance. A Sub-Committee under the Chairmanship of Sean Flaherty, Lixnaw has been tasked with organising and running the evening. He outlined his plans for the evening and advised that "Buster tickets are on sale through all GAA clubs in the County, County Board Officers, District Boards and Sub-Committee Members.
Jack O'Connor speaking at the launch agreed, that "this is a fantastic way of supporting the Kerry players in both codes and encouraged all clubs and patrons to support".
Jerome Conway, Chairman of the Kerry County Board also spoke and expressed his delight at the array of prizes on offer in the Buster Draw which he said "will appeal to every one in the County". He also thanked Sean Flaherty and his hard working committee for their hard work to date.
Paul Galvin, speaking on behalf of the players, expressed their appreciation at the efforts being made to generate funds for the Kerry Teams' Training Fund.
Sean Flaherty, Sub-Committee - Chairman expressed his thanks to the Lynch Family - Feature Race Sponsors, Dick O'Sullivan - Prize Sponsor and Kerry GAA Supporters Club - Track Sponsor for their generous sponsorship. He also thanked his hard working committee and encouraged all Kerry supporters everywhere to support the evening.

The launch of this fundraising evening takes place, next Monday evening, 19/04/2009 @ 7pm in The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee.
Kerry Players from both codes, Hurling & Football along with Team Management will also attend.
The format for the fundraising evening will be a "Buster Draw" based on the Feature Race - "Race of Champions" which will feature the top greyhounds in the country. The Buster Draw has a first prize of e4000 cash to the winner. There are nine consolation prizes as follows :
2nd All Ireland Week-end Package for 2 people, including 2 All Ireland tickets, evening meal & over-night accommodation in Dublin
3rd Ireland v All Blacks at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin November 2010, including Hospitality Package including 2 tickets & over-night accommodation in Dublin.
