There has been much publicity in recent weeks highlighting the important role defibrillators can play in sports clubs
Many GAA Clubs in the county have purchased defibrillators. Kerry Co Board has provided training in their use. There was a very good take up at these training courses. Many defibrillators are now housed in shiny new boxes at club grounds throughout the county.

There was a fantastic response from Clubs to the March 31st initiative for the payment of their affiliation, coaching and registration fees. The Co Committee are most appreciative to all the clubs that paid their fees by 31st March. A draw took place on Monday 2nd April between the clubs that had all fees paid. The winners of €1,000 were Dr Crokes.
