Games Development Administrator for South Kerry
Cúige Mumhan CLG wishes to recruit a Games Development Administrator for South Kerry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the game of hurling (in line with GAA Games Development Policy) within the South Kerry region.
Eoghan Ruadh Primary Schools boys skills competition took place last Monday. Glenflesk was the venue with eight schools participating on the day. The standard was excellent with all teams performing to a high level. Baraduff NS (Cathal O'Shea, Patrick Darcy and Alan Murphy) secured victory in the team event. Best of luck to all East Kerry and Kenmare teams and individuals taking part in the county final next Friday May 10th at 11am in the Fitzgerald Stadium.

Kerry Primary Schools mini-sevens competitions took place on Thursday 11th of April in Austin Stack Park. The boys and girls teams representing East Kerry performed well on the day. Holy Family Rathmore displayed fantastic spirit to overcome Dingle in the boys decider. Kilcummin NS showed great team work to secure the girls title against a strong Ardfert NS team. Realt Na Mara Tousist and St. Johns Kenmare also showed up well playing a nice open brand of football.
Well done to all East Kerry and Kenmare District Board players and management teams on performing so well on the county final day.

Munster U10 Go-Games Blitzes
Gneeveguilla and Glenflesk will travel to Kiskeam on Saturday 6th of April to participate in the Munster Blitz. Ballydesmond and Cullen will also take part representing Duhallow Board. The East Kerry Board are delighted to be linked with Duhallow to facilitate the organising of such an excellent event. The action begins at 10.30am.
Templenoe will host and participate on Saturday 6th of April in the Munster Blitz welcoming Tuosist and Castletownbere. The link with the Beara Board is most welcome in providing all players and coaches with valuable experience of playing small sided games.The action begins at 2pm.
Thanks to Danny Cahalane (Templenoe) and Noel Crowley ( Duhallow) for their assistance in organising the events.

moreEast Kerry Cumann na mBunscoil national schools GAA competition will take place next week. Twenty Four boys teams will take part on Tuesday 5th of March in Dr.Crokes grounds with over 280 players participating in the competition. Twenty-one girls teams will take part on Thursday 7th of March in Dr.Crokes grounds with over 250 players gaining great experience of playing games.
Students from St Brendans College who have completed a referees training course will take charge of all matches over the two days. Best of luck to all teams and most importantly, enjoy the experience.
